We enjoyed a drive to Langebaan on the West Coast road, seeing all the spring flowers, for an hour and a half. We booked into Seagulls B&B http://www.gocco.co.za/seagulls.htm where we had 2 bedrooms and a yard for Pookie, Patty and Trixie.

Then we left the dogs there and cycled through the flowers to the entrance of the West Coast National Park and back along the edge of the huge Langebaan lagoon.

In the evening we braaied with some of the Recyclers despite the cold wind.
On Saturday morning we all met at the Saldahna Navy Academy gate. We so enjoyed the cycle in the shooting range which has 4 marked cycle rides.

At times the paths are very close to the waves crashing on the rocks. The ride feels so remote and wild.
